A Very Important Message from Rosie

Hi everybuddy! It's me...Rosie!

Have you missed my sweet face? I missed all of our furiends during our hiatus, so I'm happy to be back. My brothers tease me that I'm too forgiving of Mom for things like that, but she gives the best tummy rubs and chin scritches!

Anyway, I have posted about something very IMPORTANT about heartworms (ewwww) at the Angel's Hope blog today. Please go over and take a look here: http://www.angelshopeinc.org/2012/09/04/can-cats-get-heartworm/

We are going to go look at your message. We use Advantage Multi because it prevents heartworms and there is no treatment for heartworms in cats.

Heartworms are a big problem here in MS cause we has lots of mosquitoes.

Thanks for visiting us! We'll have to go check out the heartworm info. Do cats get therm? We thought dogs only, but we will find out soon!

Thanks for checking out the heartworm info. Yes, cats can get them, though it usually causes respiratory distress rather than heart failure. Still very serious for us kitties, though. Thanks for stopping by!
