Today I made a special friend. She is a ladybug and I named her Dottie. She was a fun girl. Here is a picture of her (not a very good one because Mom is a bad photographer sometimes).
Here I am playing Peek-A-Boo with her.
Here I was whispering a secret to her. She thought I was hilarious!
Then Mom said I tried to play too hard when I did this with my lightening fast paw...
So then Mom set Dottie free out the window. She flew away. I am not sad, though. I had fun with her and I bet she did with me, too.

We've never seen a ladybird but Mom says they are lovely and maybe we will see one in the Spring. it looks like you had fun - although we are not sure Dottie had quite as much! Still that's what paws are for (tee hee!).
Dottie might have had fun till my paw almost crushed her. Sometimes I forget I am so strong. But I think she was ok though. Thanks for stopping by!
We have lots of those pretties here, trying to stay out of the cold!
The wee ones had a couple in a bowl last week with some fruit and carried them around for a couple of hours until the ladybugs got bored and flew off.
They didn't even let me have a sniff!!!

Maggy found one of those just last night on the fireplace mantel... we were surprised to see her there (she was wearing our favorite colors)... and said, "ladybug, ladybug fly away home..."
PS... Nice to meet you!
Dottie looked like she was having fun!! Too bad she couldn't stay a little longer! Have a wonderful Friday!

Wow, you found a ladybug in January? That gives us a case of Spring Fever!
Oh, we know ladybugs...we are in a ladybug migration area and we get hundreds of them crawling all over outside of the house, certain times of the year. That was nice, letting it fly away. Maybe it will come back for a visit. =^Y^=the Cat Street Boyz
You look like you are having a great deal of fun with your friend and being very gentle with her.
Ladybugs are pretty! But they usually have to fly away, fly away home.
I had a couple of ladybugs as friends a while back...we named them Thelma and Louise! I wonder what happened to them??

Mommy is always amazed by how gentle I am with bugs. she always takes them away and sets them free. Dottie looks like she was a lot of fun. I'll need to try playing Peek-A-Boo and whispering secrets to my next bug.
Looks like a wonderful time was had by all.
Thanks for coming by to visit!
